Urvi Gosht Recipe

500 grams bhuna gosht
500 grams dasheen (urvi)
3 tablespoon coriander leaves, fresh
2 whole green chilies
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon lemon juice

How to Cook:
1. Peel the dasheen and cut long into two pieces. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt and set aside for 1520 minutes. Wash the dasheen with cold running water.
2. Fry dasheens in oil until it begin to change color.
3. Prepare Bhuna Gosht , add dasheen and cook for few minutes, stirring all the time. Add 3-4 cups of water and bring to boil. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the pot with a tight fitting lid. Cook for 2025 minutes or until the dasheens are tender and about 2-3 cups gravy is left. Add lemon juice.
4. Sprinkle with finely chopped coriander, green chili and gram masala.
5. Serve with Boiled rice, Nan, or Roti
This recipe serves 6 people.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes.
Cooking Time: 30 minutes.
